This really hasn’t been my month…
First there was Jax, then I got some weird stomach bug last week. But this week was the final straw – when I was due to go on a visit for work, my feet had other plans and slipped while I was carrying my suitcase down the stairs, which led to me flying down the stairs and crashing into the wall. Goodbye work visit… hello A&E.
Good news is there’s no severe damage (bruised/fractured ribs with a sprained back and carpet burns) but this has resulted in me being off work and being quite restricted, especially when at home. My friends and family have been amazing (thank you!!) and taken good care of me.
In the meantime, aside from walking about to not freeze up, and occasional visits to the toilet and the GP, I’ve been resting up at home. Daytime TV seems ok on the first day… but not 4 days in a row!
Seeing as it’s been a bit quiet on my blog and I need to kick drive back into this, I thought I’d entertain you with some of the things I’ve been watching while resting up.
More background noise… especially with Jezza shouting “you should have put something on the end of it!” while holding DNA. If you were to play a drinking game while watching an episode of this, I guarantee you’ll be more hammered than the guests that appear on the show.
Don’t get me wrong – there are times I love to guess about the lie detector results, and my heart breaks when the sad stories come on. But as much as it’s a guilty pleasure to watch – it’s not something I’ll be putting on record!
Again, another guilty pleasure of watching 4 best friends put each other in the most cringe worthy pranks. Some are hilarious, and some are perhaps a bit too far – I mean come one, marrying one of their sister’s as a punishment for the loser to watch?! Wow…
I am forever in love with this show – it doesn’t matter how many times I watch this, these guys are MY friends (while everyone else is at work!). Rachel’s fashion game is my sort of style!
Excuse me while I just wipe the drool off my chin – HOW beautiful is the art work covering the not so beautiful art work? (Of course I’m referring to the tattoos… and maybe Jay as well…)
Making a Murderer
Oh. My. God.
I’ve binge watched this last night and all day today – I don’t want to post any spoilers on but if you HAVE seen it – there a a fair few theories about whether Stephen Avery is guilty or a victim to corruption in the police force. There’s a fair few thoughts which Buzzfeed and Twitter have been showing here. What’s your theories?!
In the meantime, are there any shows you’d recommend me to watch while I recover? Give me a comment below!
